QRBC recognises its responsibilities in safeguarding all children, young people and adults at risk, regardless of gender, ethnicity or ability. We are committed to the nurturing, protection and safekeeping of all associated with the church and will pray for them regularly.
In pursuit of this, we have a safeguarding policy and procedures based on guidance provided by the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
The church has appointed a Designated Person for Safeguarding and a Safeguarding Trustee to form part of the church safeguarding team.
If you wish to report a concern, or require further information, please contact the Church Office, in the first instance, by emailing admin@qrbc.co.uk or telephoning 024 7652 0621. Please leave your name and contact details, and say that you wish to discuss a safeguarding issue, but do not give any further details at this stage. We will arrange for a member of the Safeguarding Team to contact you as soon as possible to discuss the matter in confidence. Please note: If an adult or child is in imminent danger of harm, you should contact the police or emergency services without delay on 999.
