More road closures will occur this weekend whist Warwick Road is closed at the weekend, this time Spencer Road/Avenue will be closed - see the full message below.

Dear all

As you know a full closure of Warwick Road is currently in place between 4pm on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday each weekend up to and including 15 and 16 May so that we can safely use a crane installed on the road to lift in parts of the new footbridge and canopies at the Railway Station.

Following feedback, this weekend we plan to trial the closure of Spencer Road/Avenue when the Warwick Road closure is in place. This means that from 4pm on Saturday 24 April to 1pm on Sunday 25 April, Spencer Road/Avenue will be closed to through traffic at both ends – from the junction with Warwick Road to the junction with Albany Road. Access for residents will be maintained.

Local traffic will be diverted along Earlsdon Avenue South with the main diversion route from the A45 to London Road still in place. These diversions will be clearly signed.

If this trial is successful, we will close Spencer Road/Avenue each weekend the current planned closures are in place at Warwick Road.

Thank you for your patience while we carry out the work.
