Nativity Trail

Breaking News

With the city now in Tier 4, we have cancelled the planned goody bag distribution from the car park on Sunday.3rd January.   Please email to ask for a goody bag when we are able to distribute them.

Organiser Sarah White writes:-

As Christians we believe that Christmas is really important because it is the time that Jesus was born and he is the saviour of the world.  This Christmas we have created a Nativity Trail across the city.  Each of the participating locations will have a different Nativity Character in their window.  There will also be a QR code that you can scan to watch a video to find out more about that particular character.

The pictures were made from friends and members of Queens Road Baptist Church and are a variety of styles as many different ages took part!  The QR Codes link to some very different videos too, if you don’t enjoy one style do try another!  You can access all of the QR code links from the website too as we are aware not everyone can do this whilst out, please just follow this link.

This event will launch on Saturday 12th Dec 1.30 – 3.30pm where you can collect a goody bag from Queens Road Baptist Church and find the first picture, or alternatively there will be another option to collect a goody bag at the end of the trail on Sunday 3rd Jan.  There will be books for younger children if a goody bag isn’t suitable.

You will find full details about how to get involved in the Nativity Trail here and a useful map here. (Both are printable).
