Sunday WorshipWorship each Sunday starts at 10.30am and 6.30 pm - the services are usually between an hour and an hour and a half in length. A Creche and activities for children up to mid teenage are available during the morning service. Communion is normally celebrated on the first Sunday evening and the third Sunday morning in the month. Refreshments are served after all services to enable people to spend time together and to welcome visitors.
Services have a wide variety of content and are well supported by worship band, organ and occasional celebration choir. We are open to appropriate innovations. The Church has a number of gifted worship leaders within the membership that can be called upon to assist the ministers should they request this. The Church has a prayer ministry team which is available to pray with those requesting prayer following any service.
‘Baptist Praise and Worship’,’ Songs of Fellowship’ and an increasing number of new songs form the basis of our music in worship. Data projection is used as an aid to worship, providing song words, readings and sermon notes etc for each service. |
