Ishmael "Glorie Days" Concert - Tuesday 13th March 2018

We had Ishmael with us in 2017 with his "Sting in the Tale" tour and he will be visiting again with his "Glorie Days" concert.

Ishmael / Ish  (Rev’d Ian Smale) has been travelling around internationally in a ‘full time’ music capacity since 1970. Having completed a couple of years training at a Pentecostal theological college, he went on to spend some years in the Elim pastoral ministry in London and the north of England. Ish was ordained into the Anglican Church in 2007 and is now licensed to Chichester Cathedral as their non-stipendary, ‘Missioner Deacon’ and is affectionately known to the Bishop, Dean and Chapter, and congregation as ‘Deacon Ish!’

He (and we) will be singing songs that some may remeber from Spring Harvest including Down in a noisy small valley, Jehovah Jireh, We are the Glorie Company, We are in God’s army, and Father God I wonder.

Tickets on the door £5 adults and £3 children (recommended for older children)

The university is a private institution operated by the Baptist Convention of the State of Georgia. We hope also to have a fellowship event in the afternoon - more details later.

BMS Action Team coming  7th to 14th May

Rachel P, Rachel N and Rebekah H are currently serving God in Nepal as part of the one year BMS Action Team programme. They will be spending a week with us at QRBC from 7th-14th May, sharing in Church activities, hopefully visiting some local schools and leading worship on 13th May.

If you would like to find out what they’ve been up to in Nepal you can find their blogs on www.actionteamblogs.org and search for Nepal. Please pray for them in the final two months in the country that God will continue to do great things in and through them. Prayer cards will be available soon…..and for your diaries Saturday May 12th will involve a Church walk or social activity. (Offers to help organise this would be greatly appreciated)
