DIACONATE & PASTORAL LEADERS

The diaconate, meets monthly, consists of the church's ministers, Secretary, Treasurer and twelve deacons.  This team is key for the life of Queens Road.  This team also has to funtion as the trustee body as Queens Road is a registered charity.  With the nature of the church there is a lot to know and decisions to be reflected upon and discerned.  The Diaconate is reponsible to the church meeting for all it does.

The Ministry Team oversees the Pastoral Care Team.  Together they seek to provide care to the growing community of the church.  This is enabled by dividing the congregation into 5 geographical areas, each has a leader and team delivering primary pastoral care. A pastoral care team seeks to care for all, but does keep a special eye out for our senior members, and those who are unable to get to church, by arranging visits and a communion service four times a year for those unable to attend normal services.
